I succeeded in overcoming the difficulties during the preparation of my second college entrance exam. It’s my greatest achievement so far. Honestly, it does not mean it was the best mark I got in the exam, but that is, I paid out too much for it including my hard work, tears, hope and ambition, at the same time I harvested from it perseverance, confidence and my best friend. I received more than just getting into the Huazhong Normal University, but what will benefit me for all my life.
I would consider one experience as a great achievement that gave me more good qualities and did good in my future in the life rather than just make a success in getting a good mark or making others respect me. So my greatest achievement of my life so far is making a decision to take a second college entrance exam, insist on that and finally pass that period.

We don't do that in class in China!
What is the biggest culture change I met in the US? Food, or something else? It’s not for me! I am sure I will get used to the American lifestyle sooner. But, now I feel I am encounted with more difficult things which I have never had before and I think I should overcome and adjust to as soon as possible. What’s that? It’s the way to communicate with others, in other words, what should I do when I am in class with the professors and the classmates? Is there any difference between the way to handle the relationship with the classmates and that with the professors?
I feel confused with that, especially when I am taking class with other American students. It seems that I am so shy and less confident among them, not to say playing jokes with the students and professors! It’s impossible for me to do! In China, unless you are familiar with your professors quite well, you are able to do that in class, or it will be regarded as not respecting your teachers and maybe you will get a low mark! So the problem comes. I do not know what I should do and whether I do in a right way. I never expect to offend my professors and the classmates, so most of the time I keep in silence. But that seems not the right way to solve the problem. It’s so different and I think it harsher for me to adjust to the American way to communicate with others, but I do not want to be considered weird or unfriendly.
I need time and understanding.

What do I want to do in the US?
What do I want to do in the US?It's a question that I have thought about before coming here, but still puzzles me now.
Deep down, going to an American college does not give me so much fun, which I think is just a different way to learn knowledge and under a different culture background.Besides that, I promise there is something more that interests me to be here and type on the computer. After a careful thinking,I think feeling the different culture and different people ,and then intergrating the western culture and Chinese culture in my own particular way is the key point.Maybe it is a tough job.But maybe not.Everything different is hidden in the details.I love but also do a good job in observing the surroundings and finding the differences between each other.Further more,I would like to get the essensials of problems. So during the next year,I wanna know more about the difference between cultures through making friends, visiting different places, tasting different food and so on.Then, and the most important thing I think is from what I do above to find a best way for myself to do in the future and get as much information as possible to direct my life.
